hello loves, apologies on my extreme lack of posting recently.  life in baltimore took me hostage & i’ve fallen deeply in love with the city and everything it has to offer! and thus haven’t been spending as much time on my computer/tumblr which has been a refreshing break.  however i have some EXTREMELY EXCITING news! i got a call this past friday, while i was visiting family in New Hampshire and…..i’m the new display coordinator at Anthropologie in towson, md!

jfdkalhfioewahfi;adjf;klhfiajdkfl;l!!!! i still haven’t found the words to express the levels of my excitement and joy - in fact i still wake up every morning and pinch myself to make sure it wasn’t a dream! i start mid-june and literally cannot believe that i landed such an amazing job with such a fantastic company! my time spent interning at Anthro was the best summer of my life, surrounded by creative individuals, beautiful things and ethereal concepts…and this is now my full time job! WOAH!!

needless to say i’m on cloud nine about it and cannot wait to start :)

hope everyone has been having days and weeks filled with sunshine, love and positivity…spring is always my favorite season for these things - they just seem to be bursting from every building, tree, car and person after winter hibernation! xoxo

check out my portfolio website, finally completed and fully updated !

Ahh back from the craziness of New York and ready to finally start making moves.  It’s been a full month since I graduated (eek!) and I’m getting antsy…I have big ideas and even bigger plans for my art but I’ve just been dancing around the tedious first steps that NEED to be taken to get the ball rolling.  But fear not - something about the blur that was my first NYC experience shook me into motion and I’ve laid out a plan for my website, taken inventory of all the works that I need to photograph and have finally made a connection with an up-and-coming web designer who is going to help me with all the details of getting a site started up! I’m waiting to hear back from the shop but will hopefully start welding within the next few weeks and am also starting my blueprint reading class, a daunting task but necessary if I want to be able to do this welding job well..

Even though it’s a dreary Monday, and I missed my core conditioning class this morning (I decided that sleep was FAR more important than sweating at 8am after getting home at 2am) it’s been a super productive and motivating day…and it’s only 3! Added bonus: my hula hoop (from the lovely Hoop Mama’s) AND my zafu cushion both came in the mail while I was away this weekend.  Can’t wait to start hooping & meditating.  Sending my forward momentum and positivity to anyone who needs an extra push this week! xo

last week was miserable - all i did was get more upset about how far from my friends i am & how bored i am with nothing to do.  however, one lovely lady dragged me to my first actual yoga class in over a year over the weekend and something inside me was re-inspired!  since saturday, I’ve been to the gym, a yoga class or gone running with my dog everyday and i feel SO invigorated! on top of that, i went to a yoga class in dc yesterday at buddha b yoga studio and learned about an intensive 10 session meditation workshop, which i promptly signed up for.  it feels really amazing to feel so aligned and connected to my body, both the physical and the mental.  some key people have been crossing my path lately that have helped me fully embrace this “restarting” of my inspiration that i seemed to have lost sight of over the past month.

so today, i’m off to the gym, physical therapy and then to the library to check out some recommended books on meditation.  and what better way to start the day than with the beauty and warmth of the sunshine! spreading my love and positivity to all my followers, today and well, really every day! xo
